Well, if it was a Democrat's wife who left the room in tears, it would be breaking news by now.

It would be front page tomorrow, and the top evening news story!

You are abolutely right and the headline would involve cruel and inhuman Republican treatment of a beleagured hero.

As it is, if its mentioned at all, it will be to say that she wept at he husband's poor performance. They may speculate whether Alito may withdraw before tomorrow's hearings.

Drudge has it now, altho I have not read how he is reporting it, since it was calm and undramatic.
