The Kennedy Spectre confrontation today gets funnier and funnier the more times I hear it.
I just hear Rush replay it, and you're right, it is funny. And I think whoever said it's primarily Specter rearing up to protect his chairmanship turf was also correct.
Rush played the exchange twice, nearly in a row, and the funniest part is when Specter tells Kennedy that Kennedy is not going to run his committee for him then slams his gavel down really hard and sharp.
I hope the Daily Kos'ers and the rest of the leftist blogosphere and fringe kooks keep prodding the Democrats on this committee. The more they keep prodding, the more the Democrats look like buffoons.
