WTF? Go Kennedy making a 10 minute fuss right in the middle of the hearings! He needs his bottle. Unlike soccer, I hope Kennedy doesn't get those 10 minutes back.

"This may be what Brit Hume was hinting at some hours earlier? That something was up that could impair Alito's chances?"
Anything is possible. Does Kennedy have spies at the Library of Congress? Has Sandy Berger been caught with something in his pants again?

Or, in the case of Kennedy, drink!

This just in: The letter that came from Kennedy's office was from a fax that originated in Texas from Bill Burkett.

"Exactly Right. Arguing with Durbin would be akin to kicking a little yapping dog."
My daughter has a little yapping dog. And kicking it has come to mind...but...she is my little girl.
However, cursing and knashing of teeth (mine) happens often. The dog barks every time I call her on the phone.- but I can't really complain, my old dog had "separation anxiety" and used to cry every time I left for work.
We now have three cats who couldn't care less if we talk to them or not!

Grassley: We have a saying that if a horse is dead, quit beating it. LOL Well, you know, Peach, we conservatives kept saying that we needed this fight...looks like we're getting it. And about damn time, might I be so humble as to say.
