I wonder if a nine hour grilling of an alQaida detainee would be allowed by the new McCain anti-"torture" legislation?

Leaving aside the fact that this question has nothing to do with the subject at hand, I think McEgo's bill of rights for terrorists is a travesty.

Of course it is! Yet the same Senators who piously worry about what American defenders of the country may be doing with enemy combatants, have no problem asking a nominee to undergo what they put Alito through today. By this example they proved that the "anti-torture" bill is a travesty.

People go through worse experiences attending a winter football game at an outdoor stadium than what interrogators are "allowed" to do to detainees.
