As a billie "understudy" (who STILL doesn't get it LOL) am setting up high expectations for you for 2006 :o) (so is billie BUT she is VERY forgiving as you can see by my tables :o)
To: GodBlessUSA
It is a very pretty one...and very sturdy, too. It'll grow almost anywhere.

You do such gorgeous tables and in a rush. That's fantastic. I'm as slow as molasses. I cut and paste and think it will be perfect. I preview and I'm shocked how narrow or wide or whatever it turns out like. LOL It's fun though.

I don't have as much time as I did a year ago. Kindergarten homework can be tough on Grammas. :)

I wanted to ask you. I've seen so many pictures of it. I can't figure it out. I think I might get it confused with chicago peace or something peace. It isn't orange is it? More yellow with pink hues, correct?

I use DD's technique; a lot of cut and paste. I've saved some of my tables so I have a template to work with. :)

Yes, a very creamy yellow and pink forms around the outter edges of the petals as the rose matures. Almost like it becomes sunburned.

That's what I do also, but somehow I still make a mess. I cut out a > paste a /, who knows what I do. LOL. I just have to do them more often. Sometimes I want to frame a graphic inside a table, then the outside table frames come into the part of the table. I have to work on it. :)

I hit preview so many times adjusting this or that or finding the bracket I left off. Searching for font colors that turn out like the picture of the color is time consuming. I guess you get where the very use of certain colors helps you recall what works and the name or number!

Yes, that's the one I definitely will get this year. Good to hear you say it is a hardy rose too. I love it. I'm a roseaholic. :)

I love roses, too. My part of the country isn't too kind to roses, though. It's so hot and dry. We have to water them like crazy! Plus...I have a DARK brown thumb when it comes to live plants. Is that a picture of a peace rose or one of your own roses?

I agree. I still have so much to learn. I only hope I get use to it. :) I keep two windows open. One for photos, font colors etc. One with the table. It takes me a really long time to do. If I rush or I'm tired, it never works out right. LOL

Yes, roses love water. Roses must do well during Spring in your area. Mine shut down a bit in the heat of summer but the fall they are back doing their show. :)
This one is World War II Memorial Rose. I love the color of this one. It's a silvery pink. The photo doesn't do it justice. I lost count of roses I have after I got past 30 something. LOL
