I think Sessions is great & wish he were my senator. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the senate reject his judicial nomination before he ran for the senate?

After listening to Durbin, my "morning constitutional" has become an afternoon event. It's running on overtime.
Excuse me for playing with words.

I'm sure you could. IF you had the same size nozzle.
However most customers at self-serve stations take a lot of time compared to a high-volume station's practised attendant. Can you turn the whole enter grade, amount, unscrew fuel cap, place fuel cap someplace, remove nozzle, insert nozzle in tank, hold the trigger, fill, remove nozzle, replace nozzle on pump, find gas cap, screw on gas cap, shut fuel door, and settle payment, count change in under 100 seconds?
The nozzles I've seen used in self-serve are smaller and pump slower than those used in attended stations.

Oooh. Brownback bringing up the differences between Ginsburg and the justice she 'replaced'--Whizzer White. Good move! Most excellent. I wonder when the transcripts will be available. Probably in the morning. If I find them, I'll post them.

WOW...thanks for posting that, hip.
I was sorry that I couldn't post on ALL of what I thought was wrong with Durbin's speech...
It seems that Benchnotes felt the same way...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the senate reject his judicial nomination before he ran for the senate?Yes, they did. That makes him the PERFECT SCOTUS nominee if a liberal Justice leaves the Court.
To: OXENinFLA
Yeah...You go Brownback. Wake 'em up. Roe is unconstitutional.
To: EQAndyBuzz
Sen. Coburn telling it like it is, as usual.

What? The democrats would have a fit if that happened. What you "pick the nominee" and now you want to give statements and ask questions...LOL.

Yeah, CNN is obviously biased. I listen to KFNN business radio here in Phoenix and KFNN carries CNN radio, which is also terribly biased in favor of the democRATs. I heard CNN radio making some false statements about the Bush Administration's response to Katrina--statements that were intended to make Bush look bad and even ran contrary to articles in the mainstream newspapers. Last Friday CNN radio news was beating relentlessly on statements by some Pubbies that Delay should step down as house leader. They ran that as their lead news story all day long as though it was the biggest news in the world, even above Sharon's condition.
KFNN is a great station with a group of excellent business and stock market commentators, but CNN radio news is really tough to take. I've got to find the remote control for my stereo so I can turn off the sound during CNN news.
