the Solstice should have won it. great design, rear drive, advanced hyrdoforming manufacturing techniques, a 12-18 month order backlog.
Except that when you sit in a Solstice, it's like you're sitting in a bathtub.
The Solstice is a real milestone and should do well - the Solstice and Fusion should have won. The Accord and the Civic are both overpriced - don't know about the truck but $27K seems awfully high.
I like the Solstice a lot, and it's great to see a Detroit car that can hold its own against the MX-5 and doesn't need incentives to sell. But a 2-seat roadster is such a niche vehicle that awards like this usually won't go to it.
