He'd still be ML if the Republicans hadn't made the rule...which, by the way, the dims don't have.

So are you saying that the Republicans should revoke the rule..... Didn't they revoke the rule and then bring it back? I think DeLay even supported the return to it.

Me talking ridiculeous. Who made this stupid comments Because they are smart in taking out our people, not getting elected.

You are defining the democrats being smart because they can take out one or two guys from the majority party regardless if they are losing one election after another.

Again, my advice to you is to join the democrats if this is your definition of smart and if you enjoy savage attacks of the opponents regardless if you lose elections.

Are you high?

If not, then I'll just chalk up your replies to me as incoherent babbling.

Have a nice day

Not that I've heard. Looks like Earl got what he wanted in the end. To neutralize the 'hammer'. Even if it's only for now.

No, I don't think they should revoke it. The outcome would be the same with or without it.

But you can play the media. DeLay may be playing this very well. If he's truly innocent of the Abramoff stuff (the only things any of these Congressmen can be guilty of AFAIK is bribery or taking "illegal" gifts -- the first is nearly impossible to prove and the second is nearly always only an ethics violation), then what this does is muddy the waters in peoples' minds.

When Earle is slapped down, DeLay will be vindicated and people will not be able to distinguish between all of these technical charges and will just assume he was vindicated en toto. This will put the GOP on the offense. Let's just hope it happens before the elections.

Possibly, if you take out enough of the competition then those coming up behind them will get the message...only rinos need apply.

That was the message when they tore down Newt. Look what happened after Newt left.

And people wonder why the RINO's feel bold.
