You are so right...the media really poured it on...

I think that the USC players and coaches are pretty cool. Pete Carrol does look a lot like John Kerry, but from interviews I've seen, he seems like a good guy.

It's the media and fanboys that are making USC unbearable. USC is one of my favorite teams - I think they have the best song in football, the song girls are amazing and their tradition is up there with almost anyone.

Hopefully now the media and the fanboys can stop wondering who would win between the 1985 Bears and this years USC team.

USC is really good, but lots of teams have been head and shoulders above their competition. The recent Miami national championship team comes to mind. So does the Nebraska team that crushed Florida.

Other teams have strung together championships before as well. It's not like USC is winning for the first time in their history - they've been a elite program for a very long time - their fans need to start acting like it.

Pete Carroll is a nice guy...I am just one of those who ALWAYS gets a bit chapped when a team plays (in my view) in a weak conference and then the media starts attempting to suggest that they are the BEST EVER...BULL!!!!

A very good team, however, let's not lose sight of the miracle plus good luck at Notre Dame, and the fact that Fresno ran up 45 points on them and then went on to lose 5 games...let's not lose sight of the fact that USC only scored two more times on UCLA that did ASU when ASU was 1-4 in conference play.

To even start the BEST EVER chatter was silly.
