Where is ASU ranked, and where is LSU ranked? Who won the game when they played? LSU did, of course.

Big difference from first game to end of season.

But, your point is well taken...I believe ASU, UCLA, Oregon, and USC all have good offenses. Of the defenses I have watched this year, I think UCLA was the worst....having said that, my point is about the defense of the conference overall. I only mentioned ASU because I heard the announcer during the bowl game mention that they were ranked 113th (114th now).

I don't believe any team in the SEC is better than USC right now...however, I believe that if USC had to play in the SEC the last three years, they would have more than one loss.

Big difference from first game to end of season. I agree - it does make a difference. I realize that LSU played that game right after the Hurricane Katrina which was unsettling to say the least for the LSU players. that said, Oregon played Oklahoma without their star player, QB Kellen Clemens, which had to make a difference in the game. I know Oklahoma was improved, but I would have liked to seen Clemens out there.

Regarding the offenses, I guess I think the PAC 10 offenses are a little better than you think. (and that's cool to disagree about it). I know that defense take second place around the PAC-10. Will be interesting to see what Stoops does at Arizona.
