Chuck O'Donnell sits on top Traveler VII, Southern California's mascot, during a practice run on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at USC's campus in Los Angeles. The horse became part of Southern California's pageantry after a school official and student saw Traveler I being ridden in the 1961 Rose Parade.
