Pamela's guardianship renewed for another six months! Please see "Scott's News" for more information. (continued at link)
http://scottsfight.com/Scott's%20News.htmJanuary 3, 2006
Today was the long-anticipated status hearing on guardianship for Scott.
The hearing took place in judge's chambers with Pamela and her attorneys and Eliza and her attorneys. Pamela presented the judge with information that she has now filed with the court to have Scott declared "partially capacitated". This means, at the very least, that he would then be allowed to indicate his preferences for his social environment, such as who is allowed to visit. He has repeatedly indicated that he does not want to see Eliza, but he does wants to see his son.
Pamela also informed the judge that, after Scott is legally determined to be "partially capacitated", they would be filing for a divorce for him. [emphasis mine]
Eliza indicated to the judge that she would fight any divorce proceedings.
The final item that Pamela presented to the judge is that Scott is scheduled for surgery to close his tracheotomy opening, which should allow him to regain his ability to speak and make sound.
Based on all the above information, Judge Wilkes ruled to grant Pamela another six months of full guardianship of Scott. This will be a crucial time for Pamela and Scott, as they continue to work, not only for Scott's recovery, but for him to regain the right and ability to truly "speak for himself".
Please continue to join us in prayer and other support for Scott and Pamela as they continue the battle for LIFE.
Romney, a Republican who is considering a run for president in 2008, said he will set up a panel to review the girl's 10-year, 45-page case log. The commission will look into whether caseworkers missed signs of physical abuse leading up to the September beating that landed Haleigh in the hospital and the agency's handling of her care afterward.

Wouldn't it be amazing if she completely awoke from her coma??? This would prove that medical science can only go so far and that they are not always right, therefore we should be more on the side of life instead of ready to pull the plugs on people!
I'm wondering if MS got used to the cameras and attention he got prior to Terri's death. We never see Jodi's picture..just Michaels.
If it's the attention he likes..we haven't seen the last of him. It's probably getting pretty hard to keep that temper under wraps.
People awaken from comas all the time. Some people are not convinced by that. It's been proven time and time again that people in comas or PVS are very much alive. That doesn't stop some people from wanting to kill them.
To true, just cause someone is brain damaged in a coma/PVS does not mean you should starve them to death. It is sad really cause people do wake up sometimes and we need to be cautious and realize that instead of making the conclusion there is no hope for the person and to kill them.
Wendy Murphy has come out very effectively in support of Haleigh.
Wendy was just on CC and stated that Haleigh is improving.
I wonder if Jodi has something to hide and does not want to be exposed.
In Weimar, the Chancellor was given unchecked power, and it was all done within the law. Whenever he wanted something he could trot out a lawyer, and then a judge, to rule that the unconscionable was perfectly legal, and reassure the public that the Chancellor needed to do the unconscionable because of the emergency. To solve the emergency people were disappeared, tortured, and killed; and everyone was spied on. When the Reichstag said, 'Don't do that', he said, 'I will if I want to', and a judge rubber stamped his decision. Dissent was disloyalty, and everyone cheered. Thus did totalitarianism arrive all perfectly legal. At all times, Weimar was a nation of laws. Officially, that is. The judges said so. The first thing they got was forced euthanasia. That's how you can tell. It was the same with the Pottsylvanian takeover here.
All of those things are happening here and now. How many people argued that it was perfectly legal to kill Terri Schiavo, Mae Maguirk, Jimmy Chambers, etc...? Nevermind that it was unconstitutional, and just plain wrong. Loopholes had been found in the Law, and that's all that mattered. We still have trolls coming on these threads, insisting that the fact that no one has been prosecuted for their crimes is sufficient proof that the extermination of disabled people is legal and right. They give us the same tired arguments the Nazis gave when they were caught. What these women did was legal in Germany at the time.
Did you see my post that CNN Headline News called Terri's case a "right to life" case recently? I almost fell off the couch. Does CNN have new mgmt?
Gee, maybe a big time politician like Mitt Romney has seen inside polling data that shows that TERRI WAS MURDERED and EVERYBODY KNOWS IT. I have so many RNC surveys to complete and send in. I'm taking them to Terri's remembrance and passing them out so others can express their thoughts to the RNC. I am swamped with GOP surveys. And, never put the stamp on to save them postage.
Don't fret. Remember Mikey controlled Terri's image. He's controlling Jodi's too.
There are hospices who are not providing palliative care until natural death. THEY ARE STARVING SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED PEOPLE. They get paid to put someone in a bed but attendants in the death care system do nothing for them. That's what Hitler did. People don't realize this is going on all over this country.
There is natural death and there is euthanasia which is murder.
Haleigh is improving. The msm is still calling Haleigh's fight a euthanasia battle. Why does the msm automatically go there?
Question? How's Randal McCloy in WV doing? Remember I was worried about how he would be treated. Seems like news of McCloy has dropped off on the national level.
He's doing slightly better. Little improvements a bit at a time.

If he ends up on Medicare, that's when he could get in trouble. Nobody can tell me the govt isn't interfering in people's medical treatment. That was the hue and cry in the failed rescue attempt of Terri. Saving her was interfering in a private matter? What a LIE and what a bunch of hypocrites who miss the medicaid fraud, the shell game w/Judge Greer and Mikey's attys felos, bushnell, ham baskin (the depo dodger), shames, the ACLU legal team and judges all the way to SCOTUS.
The big picture was completely overlooked. Trolls and left wing bureaucrats look through a narrow lens on Schiavo-Gate.
This is and was really huge and illegal including subversive activity = treason by Judge George Greer. www.judgegeorgegreer.com (an excellent site)
Dehydration is saved for the innocent.
Excerpts from North Country Gazette
STARKE, FLA---Florida law says it's unlawful to withhold nutrition and hydration from a person.
Failing to provide proper care to an animal including feeding it is animal cruelty and a felony.
Starving a person to death and withholding water is cruel and inhuman punishment, a violation of the 8th Amendment.
