Pamela's guardianship renewed for another six months! Please see "Scott's News" for more information. (continued at link)
http://scottsfight.com/Scott's%20News.htmJanuary 3, 2006
Today was the long-anticipated status hearing on guardianship for Scott.
The hearing took place in judge's chambers with Pamela and her attorneys and Eliza and her attorneys. Pamela presented the judge with information that she has now filed with the court to have Scott declared "partially capacitated". This means, at the very least, that he would then be allowed to indicate his preferences for his social environment, such as who is allowed to visit. He has repeatedly indicated that he does not want to see Eliza, but he does wants to see his son.
Pamela also informed the judge that, after Scott is legally determined to be "partially capacitated", they would be filing for a divorce for him. [emphasis mine]
Eliza indicated to the judge that she would fight any divorce proceedings.
The final item that Pamela presented to the judge is that Scott is scheduled for surgery to close his tracheotomy opening, which should allow him to regain his ability to speak and make sound.
Based on all the above information, Judge Wilkes ruled to grant Pamela another six months of full guardianship of Scott. This will be a crucial time for Pamela and Scott, as they continue to work, not only for Scott's recovery, but for him to regain the right and ability to truly "speak for himself".
Please continue to join us in prayer and other support for Scott and Pamela as they continue the battle for LIFE.
It's probably this 70 percent number that has the poll-driven GOP shaking in its cowardly boots on this important life issue. Already liberals have made it "standard fact" that the extermination of Terri Schiavo was "good and decent" public policy.
We persevere......
I seriously doubt it.
"North Country Gazette headlines:

An overwhelming majority of the public supports laws that give patients the right to decide whether they want to be kept alive through medical treatment, according to a new poll released by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press.
Poll Shows 70% Support Right to Die

This is scarry. The public has been brainwashed with one side of the story.
Personally, I'm not going to sign anything, but a "Will to Live" is ethical, unlike many "Living Wills" and can be downloaded to be used, or just used as an example, from www.nrlc.org.
Always make sure you know what you're getting into with a "living will." For instance, if you say: "I don't want to be on a respirator," it could mean one thing if it would only prolong an imminent death for months or years, and another thing if it would only be needed for 48 hours after an accident, and one could be restored to normal health.
Never trust a poll, and especially, never trust a liberal writing up the results of a poll.
A point well taken...I certainly figure this poll is results oriented.
The news is filled today with the same story on DeLay. I plucked this from the Kansas City Star but it is repeated about 49 times in other papers.
Tenacious Tom DeLay has had wild ride

Another end of year list that has no clue that Terri was alert and aware... They put her on their list as being "hooked up to machines for 15 years" and really terrible comparisons to putting animals to sleep. This is what we are up against: the propaganda that is out there and the polls that are being driven by the death cultists.
There's a SUPERIOR Will called WILL TO LIVE.
The Living Will will kill you in most hospitals, etc. Medical conglomerates are about turnover and soaking newer patients.
I hope that Randal McCoy of West Virginia is afforded the best of care. West Virginia is not the safest place to be disabled.
Anyway, here's the LINK to a disgusting end of year notable list from rumor mongers who are nowhere near Tampa bay:

Terri's nutrition cost $8.00 per day.
That was a troll poll.

8mmMauser, remember all the people at the Vigil for Terri who stopped eating and drinking while Terri was being starved to death? Then, add the people there who had no appetite because they were witness to such an abomination in these United States. It was truly an appetite suppressor knowing Terri was being murdered yards away and that law enforcement there had guns locked and loaded if anyone tried to rescue her.
WAKE UP, SHEEPERS AND FREEPERS, LURKERS AND MEDIA. The State of Florida sponsored the murder of a disabled woman who was "NOT hooked up to machines". The MSM will never stop lying!
Nat Hentoff called the killing of Terri Schiavo "judicial murder."
Isn't that a rock 'n' roll dance?
You put your left views in
You take the truth right out;
You pretend your poll is honest and then spread it all about.
You read your Marx and Lenin, then you really dance and shout!
Dance the troll poll.
Dance the troll poll.
"Navy Chaplain ends hunger strike - wins right to pray in Jesus' name while in uniform:

This was nothing but censorship, and I'm so glad that this Navy Chaplain won his right to pray in Jesus' name. All Chaplains should be allowed to pray according to their own religion. What's the sense of having Chaplains from different denominations, if they can't pray in their own religion?
Having said that, while I'm sure this Chaplain is a good man, it is wrong to starve and dehydrate yourself until you die, which he would have done, he said. That is suicide.
On the other hand, fasting for Terri was a beautiful thing, because the intent was sacrifice, not death. Fasting for a few days, or whatever, and offering it up to save Terri's life, is different from fasting until you die.
His name is McCloy.
Why do you say that about West Virginia?
West Virginia makes disabled citizens fight tooth and nail for their rights.
R. McCloy is breathing on his own back in West Virginia. There were no further details given on tv.
#97 must be the People's Republic of China. They harvest body parts over there.
Do the trolly polly - that's what it's all about!
