My only thought on that is: Strayhorn would be wearing a Burkha when she did it. (Come to think of it, that would be a good thing for her)
That's not a factor in my decision making process-politicians pander, it's what they do. Like dogs bark, cats meow, pigs oink, politicans pander
Perry is no more hypocritical than any other politician on the Muslim issue. It's something they have to do. Until there is a fundamental change in the way the country views Muslims, that's the way it will be.
I'd be grateful that they were hostile to the muslims in the other mosque a few blocks to the west.
