I retired from a very large company just recently and I will assure you they would have a large problem with it.

Company email was used expressly for company business and if you had a problem with it, sorry.

I would bet this email address will vanish post haste from any website, DNC or RNC. Bank on it.

I know people at AT&T, former SBC, that use company property to promote, MoveOn.org , Democrats and anti-Republican activities.

Even if he/she is using company computer off of work hours, it and email storage are still a company asset. Good judgement would lead this person to use a free (google, yahoo, hotmail) email account to get the intel name off of his or her correspondence.

I agree completely. Any company worth its salt has clear policies about personal use of company email and other resources. Even really liberal companies like Apple and Microsoft.
