This doesn't prove your point too well. Hardly a left-winger on guns. Frankly sounds to the right of any other NY Republican I can think of, which is sad. But hardly enough to disqualify.

better to have a democrat in office to elicit gridlock with Bruno and some real conservatives upstate in the senate then a RINO like Pataki who SCREWED NY Gun Owners and of course the republican senate backed their guy.

At least when we had Cuomo (and I choke on my own words here...Cuomo was and is a traitor and a Communist) there was NO gun laws put into effect. The State Senate vetoed all his crap.

RINO's are the DEATH of the Republican party in NY and everywhere else.
