Right. "Reach into the White House..." these lunatics still do NOT get it. It is the Dinosaur Media's pet stooges who are going down this time. Going to be hard to suddenly demand the 1st Amendment protects them when they all gleefully rejected that protection when they thought the Plame-Wilson scam job was going to "get Bush".

I think they get it...they are trying to manipulate the public. When the investigation is over and the truth comes out, the public will wonder if the WH used power to keep it from being "caught".

I am so cynical about the Old Media. They print these stories for a reason, IMO.

The libs' dream is to have everyone in the current White House investigated, charged, and convicted. They think it might make them feel better about Clinton's guilt--plus, they are positive it will put their guy (even if it's Hillary) into office.

Perhaps unfortunately, the crime here seems to be disclosure of the information (by a government official) rather than printing the information (by the NY Times.)

My guess is that the leak came from a Clinton/Powell holdover in the CIA or State Department.

The point of the investigation isn't to discover who printed the story (that would only take a buck to buy the paper and a few minutes to read it). The point of the investigation is to find out who in the government leaked the information, and I don't see why the White House would be considered off limits.

Let em hope. Still, MONTHS later, and no Rove indictment. Libby will be acquitted, and these idiots will have put a dozen reporters in jail.

These clowns at the New York Times should thank God it's Bush in the White House now, and not Lincoln.

Whomever is implicated they NYT MUST be included since they openly and wantonly published information intentionally to bring down our national security. The worm "Pinch" Shulzberger and the Benidict Arnold reporter scamming a book must be frog marched bare foot over broken glass to the closest prison bath house.
