Texas Tech won the Oklahoma game on a technicality, and when they faced Texas, they were blown out. If you look at everyone else they played, one thing becomes obvious, the Big 12 sucked this year, and Texas Tech was the main benefactor of it. If Tech had been playing in the SEC, they'd have more than 2 losses.
Tell it to Michigan and Oregon.

Tech physically outplayed OU most of the game.
Also note the strength of schedule ratings: Tech #14, Bama #54.
As far as the Big 12 sucking: they've been doing pretty darn good in the bowl games so far.
