Not being a Catholic I don't understand the 'relic' thing. I also don't understand the Virgin Mary on a pancake mentality, but whatever floats their boat. I don't need that kind of questionable proof of Jesus Christ, I have faith in the Word of God.

In Italy in the city of Otranto there is a church whose walls and altar are made of of hundreds of bones and skulls. Otranto was way down south in the "heel" of the Italian "boot" and was constantly raided by the Ottoman Turks after they took Greece and the Balkans (it's only about 30 miles to Albania from Otranto).

Finally, in the 1400's, the Turks took the city. They gathered up all the people and forced them to convert to Islam. About 800 men refused to renounce Christ and were beheaded in the city square. This enraged the surrounding cities who raised up an army and threw the Turks out. A church was built in the city square and the bones of these brave 800 were made part of the church itself.
