it is.
the bamboo is a pale blonde/tan with variegated light green highlights.
the primary bindings are cotton twine, dyed in my coffee, which - in combination with the wood glue used in application - produces a hue and pattern closely matching the grain of the bamboo, but perpendicular to it.
the secondary bindings are dark green nylon thread, and appear almost black at first glance but reveal themselves under closer examination. the secondary bindings "cap" the ends of the primary bindings.

Dyed in your coffee... is that the sludge you make that closely approximates the effect of my coffee, or is that the 'regular daily' stuff?
