Later babies tend to get bigger. There's also a good chance he'll be a genius. Of course, with his genetics, that seems rather obvious.

You may have to work on the concept of punctuality with him, though.

My whole family needs help with punctuality. (Except me - I'll be early for my own funeral!)

I really don't mind the baby's taking longer, as long as neither of us has any unpleasant symptoms. A larger baby is generally more ready to eat, and that's important to a nursing mother! Dr. Polish estimates this one at between 8 and 9 lbs., but you never know until you get it on the scale!
