In a more "libertarian" society, you can easily negotiate for food/clothing/shelter than you can in todays litigious society.

I'm not certain that follows... If A has something that B needs right the hell now, but A does not wish to part with it... how will "negotiation" serve B?

the exigencies of survival trump ethics, and all other such forms of civilized veneer, when push comes to shove.

so, please: elaborate

In a healthy free market society, you always have surplus'. Always. Charitable works are good PR. Without taxation, you have more resources. Without regulation, you have more opportunities to score a quick meal by exchanging labor for food. Ect...

If you are too f*cking lazy to work for it, you don't deserve it. Everyone can do something. Even 90 yo quadraplegics.

If you are so feckless that you can't even turn a buck, why should someone else suffer having their resrouces taken from them to keep your sorry ass alive?

Darwin works.
