Some of us are self employed, because we can't stand being under the thumb of anyone(moi) : )

Except the bank manager, the taxman, your suppliers, your clients LOL!!

But I suppose for the most part you can tell them to jump in the lake (as my father has done), something an employee can't do!!

Actually, the bank manager is quite helpful(we maintain a 7 figure account), so we have a personal banker who handles everything for us. Even our employees don't have to stand in line to do their banking business.

Now as for the &%$#$##%$^&&***taxman..................
