I've had to modify my thinking on this issue over the years. You really need to learn to dump personal bias and public school indoctrination. I've been reading through
Elliot's Debates from the Constitutional Convention. If anything, I am understating my position. It is actually kind of frightening to step back in time, read what the delegates argued over and agreed to, and then compare that to todays Federal and State governments.
We are a LONG, LONG, LOOOOOONg ways away from what we are supposed to be. We have shed almost every ideal they held sacred.
I think the liberals have twisted everything for so long that even those who really know are a bit confused at times. And even if they aren't confused, they are not really HEARD!
We need to get back to basics and cut the crap.
