'... could write a real pretty poem about that knitted space suit ..."

Possibly. Thanks. -- But why?

I assumed it would be complicated. I am impressed to say the least, at the thought that has gone into your work.

It's like suiting up a four-year old to go play in three feet of snow.

No, but it didn't matter
The machine obstinately refused input until I goofed it a little.

You do realize, Darks, that if the power goes off in the middle of your experiment, you're going to be beside yourself with disappointment?

He'd be half in one spot and half faxed elsewhere. There's a silly poem in there somewhere. LOL

Okay, I possessed the machine until it put the fax through.
THEN I left it drooling ectoplasm and smoking.

So I was quite grateful the power didn't go off.
"My Mother, The Car" just wasn't a show I liked..

Our friend Darks, the fax machine. Has an odd ring to it. I think I like you better the way you are. Glad the power stayed on!

The fax maxhine hopping and beeping was interesting.
Was actually half afraid that the pages I had been trying to fax would be damaged.
Then it calmed down, politely did as I asked, printed out a confirmation page, and then promptly fell into a comatose state.

"There's a silly poem in there somewhere."

I can do that, but it's going to seem pretty weird to anyone not of the Thread.

I did a bit of a parody of one of those bad poetry cafes last night.
Complete with reference to the bongo drums and sunglasses.

I've done "Bob's Bad Poem" and "The Song of the Spider-Robots."

I won't ask what could be worse than that, but I'm just curious if there's a market for yet another strange poem from NnB.

Nah. November and December had it beat by a long shot.

Worst part was that it was a brand new G3 model fax machine.
