"yes prophesies is being fulfilled {and all the world wondered after the} now you all tell me what."

Yes, but many here will just say, "None of your business." And other than just taking on some interesting discussion (or for noting illustrations of end time prophesy) it really is not our business. Of course, that could be said about 80% of the topics posted on Free Republic.

What are any of the (visible) churches (particularly denominationally focused ones) in this day of fulfilling prophesy but big clubs anyway, with some religious trappings. Aren't they, like other institutions (e.g. the U.S. Armed Forces) becoming laboratories for social experimentation? They seem to have no higher authority then themselves. How do they attract newer members in any numbers without first uniting with the world's system and philosophies(?)...and then they just all get together -- Revelation chapter 13 down the pike.

My eldest brother is a sodomite. He and his "domestic partner" are active members of an Episcopal church that is mostly sodomites who love passing the chalice amongst themselves. That church is a well-known (in that large metropolitan area, anyway) haven for sodomites who want to have acceptance in religious society. No authority higher than themselves. They probably would just love reunification with all the others.
