IMHO, illegal immigration is analogous to the black market and when illegals are no longer illegal, they will no longer be in demand. Or in much less demand.

They will be able to form unions and demand higher wages starting with minimum wage. And they will be required to pay taxes, social security, etc.

Wonder if many will stay illegal for this reason.

I would bet they'll stay. One more amnesty, however it comes about, will result in massive changes in this country, economically, socially, and politically.
