Yeah, I saw that. I think the eagle symbolizes money, though, as when "the eagle s...s," though. This ministry does seem to be a "get all you can through the power of God" sort of ministry, from what I've read on the church's site and elsewhere.

This is an old style of evangelism. "Love God and give me as much money as you possibly can and it will be returned tenfold!" There have been many of these phonies out there over the years.

There is a Japanese Buddhist sect Nichiren Shoshu which uses a ritual of chanting the phrase 'nam-yoho-renge-kyo' for material goods and specific tangible returns. The adherents (many of them in the US) swear that it (the changing) works better than compound interest!
