Is Smith a director? Not familiar with him so I'll have to google it.

Hotel Rwanda was depressing, but at the same time, incredibly compelling. Cheadle's character is the very definition of the word hero.

The draw of LOTR? You mean aside from the awesome cinematogrophy, compelling good vs evil storyline set in a magical universe that taps into something essential to man? Well, other than that, there wasn't much of an appeal.

Writer/director/actor. He did Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob's Adventure. I don't typically like comedies, but he makes me laugh until it hurts.

What the film delivers is a ham-fisted primer on blue-state values.

I just saw it and your statement is spot on. Interestingly, none of their gay, liberal agenda was in the trailers. I wonder why? /s

Haven't seen any of these and in fact don't recognize the titles. Will look into it. Your reputation is at stake!

Can't help but ask if you've seen Mr and Mrs Smith and your thoughts, if so?

It was a fun movie, but it's one of those films you have to shut half your brain off to enjoy. I'm not knocking it, because I really did enjoy it, but it's not something I could watch twice.

"And, fellas, there are several great manly men in this film too."

Um....er......thanks and all, but........maybe that should have been a heads-up to the girls rather than we 'fellas'. Ahem.

Thanks for your remarks. I thought it was pretty funny, and admired the mutliple weapons choices.

What a pathetic movie.

Note to self: check FR for movie reviews before spending one cent on rentals.

This movie fulfilled every hippie liberal sterotype while making all of them out to be the 'ideal' family. I couldn't have found this movie more annoying.

I knew it within the first minute when I saw the gay son & boyfriend and the daughter's NPR bag.

Stupid, stupid film.
