If a paleontologist tells me that archeopteryx had colorful plumage, I am unconvinced.

I have been looking at the pictures of the latest fossils and they might be wrong on many levels. I've been looking at the bone impressions and what they say are feathers.

Also with 3D computer imaging and laser technology a phony could be burned into some fro relatively cheap.

Wouldn't be the first time that the fossil record has been sidetracked by false interpretation, or even outright fraud.
