Christmas was always popular with both muslim and non-muslim Malaysian and Indonesians too, as well as in other islamic nations like the UAE, who have decorations and references to Christmas all over the place even if they don't celebrate the religious aspect of it.
I'm always amazed when clueless western liberals (think PC speech gestapo, and the thought police) kowtow to the most intolerant jihadi element, stopping references to Christmas, requiring the "submission" of us all to self enforced dhimmitude lest we "offend" muslims.
Little do they know that they are really just "useful idiots" helping to Talibanize the west.

I had no idea Christmas could even be mentioned in Iran, much less celebrated in the manner indicated by these photos.
