When the King makers (wise men)came from the east They came with what? GOLD, Frankinscence and Mirh. These guys were coming to pay tribute and looking for the King of the Jews. They brought a tribute, how big? I don't know but I believe it took care of the family for a long time.
Yes, very good. It likely took care of the family for a number of years. Since they were poor prior to that time, it was the way that G-d providencially financed their excursion and 2 year stay in Egypt.
But is wasn't the reason why Judas was the treasurer, and it didn't finance the feeding of the 5,000 (or 4,000), which incidentally were not financed at all.

I never said the feeding was financed. Jesus provided the food through a supernatural supply, and when He supplies there is an abundance and overflow. I believe that Peter had money, we know Levi had to have money, Jesus was financially provided for from his disciples and the women who followed him.
