Thanks for the post Simo.. I had missed that news.. I am rather dashing to and fro with Christmas baking at this moment.

And a point there is made as well, Congress thinks we are not watching. Sorry critters... you got your raises and complain about cuts elsewhere.. cry me a river baby.

Personally, I think 6 months is too long.. considering the midterm campaigns. Both sides will politicize and kick the can down the road, and that is not ever good. They'll do the same with illegal immigration. WE the People will have to force their hand now in their public commitments to protect the Constitution FOR THE PEOPLE etc. We will not allow wishy-washy platitudes and fear rhetoric to sway us. This is our last chance in '06 to clean house. 2008 will be too late.

I hope that Sen. Craig comes to the camera often to press his concerns and press for early debate.. not again, letting the President wait till the last minute, to shove bad law, permanent law, down the throats of Americans, (and Democrats/s) .

That's up to us. At least we know the Congress tipped its hand. I'd sure like to know who slipped those ugly provisions into the Senate version.

Yeah, three months would have been adequate. As I recall, the Congress members from Idaho have taken a stand before, correct me if I'm wrong, to no avail. I don't see what's so patriotic about trampling over the Bill of Rights and all this talk about a wall.

If Able Danger is an indicator of willingness to pursue terrorists, then another excuse will be found to enact another measure meant to keep us safe.
