FYI
Good job to Spanish intelligence! Too bad their commie bosses prefer the French approach to terrorism - surrender and make a little cash in the process.
I bet they were armed via the new French Connection.
Byelorussian chemical weapons specialist turned out to be Al-Qaeda member
One of the 16 members of Al-Qaeda terrorist cell, arrested in Spain, is a native Byelorussian, expert in chemical weapon.
According to Spanish Interior Minister Jose Antonio Alonso, 30-year-old Sergey Malyshev participated in militants operations in Chechnya, Pakistan and Afghanistan. He was born in Minsk, recently adopted Islam and took the name of Amin al-Ansari.
Among persons arrested are also citizens of Morocco, Egypt, Iraq, Ghana, France and one Spaniard. They have been arrested during the last night in different towns of Spain, including Seville and Malaga. The police seized carried lots of chemicals that can be used for production of explosives.
Leader of the cell, Iraqi Hijag Maan, alias Abu Sufian, has been also reportedly detained. RSN notes, the group occupied itself with recruiting new terrorists and their ideological training. Provided with fake IDs, they were transferred in Istanbul, and then to Iraq, where they trained to be suicide bombers.
Are you suggesting a world war? We might have to use methods of war? Are you profiling the Middle East people?
Ole!
The leader of the Islamic terrorists arrested yesterday in dawn raids has been named as Hiyag M., alias ` Abu Sufian', a 25 year old Iraqi living in Nerja. He is said to have maintained contacts in Iraq with access to, or very close to Al Qaeda operative Abu Musab Al Zarqawi. Arrested in Nerja, Abu Sufian personally controlled the network and it is thought that many of the individuals were ready to set off for Iraq, probably to undertake suicide missions. The only suspect of Spanish nationality to be detained was 47 year old José Antonio D. M., a local Nerja resident. A third person arrested in Nerja was Bahbah El H., a Moroccan citizen from Ceuta.....
Sorry, but no link to translated Google source. I inadvertently lost it and couldn't find my way back.
It did not help when Spain turned and ran like children.
No, but that's what terrorism is all about.
All they have to fear it fear itself.
The Unholy Alliance is fighting back:
They have their civil rights, don't you know.

Islamists held in Spain now 15, possessed bomb ingredients
Text of report by Spanish news agency Efe
Madrid, 19 December: The interior minister, Jose Antonio Alonso, has said that those arrested in today's operation against Islamist terrorism, who now number 15, had in their possession various components "which can be used for making explosive devices", although other "indispensable" ones were lacking.
Alonso, who reported on the operation against a group engaged in recruiting mujahedin and sending them to Iraq, said that in the two searches carried out in Seville they had seized acetone, oxygenated water, turpentine, solvent, citric acid and liquorice essence, but other "indispensable" components for making explosive devices were lacking.
The interior minister also said that the number arrested has now risen to 15, that the initial investigations indicate that they did not intend to carry out attacks on Spanish territory and that the group - which was going to send two volunteers to Iraq shortly - was divided into a "hard core " which took decisions, another which recruited mujahedin and a third which forged papers.
