Ironically New Haven is within 15 or 20 miles of the Wisconsin Dells area, with several strip clubs, a large casino, and what I'd guess is the states largest tourist destination. Much better location, of course dramatically different property values.

Geography
New Haven is located at 43°40'43" North, 89°38'57" West (43.678790, -89.64926)1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 78.7 km² (30.4 mi²). 75.8 km² (29.3 mi²) of it is land and 3.0 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.75% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 657 people, 260 households, and 197 families residing in the town. The population density is 8.7/km² (22.4/mi²). There are 338 housing units at an average density of 4.5/km² (11.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.26% White, 0.15% African American, 0.91% Native American, 0.30% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.30% from other races, and 1.07% from two or more races. 1.22% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 260 households out of which 25.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.5% are married couples living together, 5.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 24.2% are non-families. 19.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
