An honest debate on it would be a good thing. (/pollyanna) Congress is a disgrace, however -- mot much statesmanship on either side of the aisle, and what little there is tends to ooze from the R side.

And the leaker -- including one James Risen of the NYT -- prosecuted. There is no freedom of the press to break the law. His legal responsibility was to report the crime to the FBI, not to stuff it into his book.
