I , and many others, have posted many reasons why we don't seem to be sold on the fair-tax plan. Thanks for the reasoned reply - all too rare on these threads!
It may seem to tax reform proponents that those reasons are not valid. Reform proponets could say the same, that rebuttals to some reasons seem to fall on deaf ears. Hence the nature of anonymous posting. It's so much easier face-to-face to see another's point of view.

I personally think the fair-tax plan has some serious issues that would cause me to not support it in its current form.
I have also thought that I shouldn't even post to anymore threads on this issue.
The reason that I do, is because of all those people that read/never write in this forum.
I think that having both sides of an issue is what brings many people to FR.
