Not my intention to "leave anyone hanging." I joined in 98. As a mom of 4 and at the time, grandmother of 2 who were living with me. I then went to Georgia to take care of a dear friend who had a terminal disease. He died January of 2004. I went back to NY and tried to pick up where I'd ended up at FR, but couldn't remember exactly what screen ID I'd used. First attempt showed my ID already in use, but my pw must have been wrong...so I simply used a form of my old ID, a new pw, and came back. No biggie.
Crass is not class. Nor is lack of an apology when one is appropriate.
