Yes, big difference today. Of course by today's laws/rules, most of my best teachers would probably have been brought up on some kind of charges for damaging young psyches. They inspired a mixture of fear, awe and respect. They demanded -- and got -- discipline and performance. I thank them often in my thoughts and prayers.
