OK, you got me curious. I think there was a calender above a table, which had a box of Oxydol on it. Also, the Look magazine may have had a visible date. I thought the cars looked early-mid 40's vintage. I'm going to check out the DVD.

The Red Ryder air rifle came out in 1938 and it's demand increased with kids with the onset of war. Mostly 40's mood, IMO.
