I noticed a four hour delay in my emails to my husband when my son was caught up for the second time in the London terrorist bombings. I was so mad at him for not responding that I spammed his email, trying to get a response. He didn't even get half of the emails that I sent.
Did it ever occur to you that thousands upon thousands of people were trying to email friends and family at the same time?
