Within 2 generations of being in America most Mexicans could easily pass as white if they wanted to.

most Mexicans are as white as most Italians.

you've got to remember a Mexican is a Spanish European (white) mixed with some native American Indian.

I rarely see a Mexican with easily recognizable Indians traits (Inca type appearance) here in America. What I see are European looking people with dark tans from working construction jobs, and strait black hair. If they worked inside jobs, dressed differently, and had no accent, you'd be hard pressed to guess what race they were.

That's just about the ONLY kind I see around here. I'm in Southern California -- where are you? Perhaps your immigration is coming from a totally different region or subpopulation within Mexico?

Whenever I see what I think is a "white Mexican" -- light skin, sometimes blue or green eyes, but Spanish speaking -- that person is almost invariably actually a Guatemalan.
