My daughter and family live there. We've been talking since she was thrown out of bed at the first blast. Your right she wouldn't let that interfere with her cuppa but this Brit here had to have more than just milk and sugar in mine.
Every window in the house is broken and only able to exit the house by the rear door. Dishes broken and all over the floor and pictures all off the walls. Can't see much outside as it's thick with smoke.
My son-in-law slept through the whole thing.
Wow. Has anything like this in your area happened in the past?
Now I don't feel so bad for sleeping through a mag 5.6 quake. lol...
They are telling anyone that is near the smoke and has windows out to leave for somewhere safer. (Per the news conference.) Perhaps they should take their cuppa on the road?
Good that you're able to talk with her. We'll keep them in our prayers. How close are they?
Heh, I can't imagine sleeping through that. He must be one heck of a sleeper.
