Seems to me the best Dem ticket would be McCain/Dean.

And the best Pub ticket would be Zell/Lieberman.

(I am only being partially sarcastic.)

I understand his ratings--but you need to remember McCain represents Arizona so you would expect similar ratings (or better) from any Republican Senator from that state.

I am convinced if he were Senator from Rhode Island he would make Chaffee look like a conservative.

He loves the media adoration too much--he is a political prostitute, pure and simple. He sleeps with dogs and then gets covered with fleas.

If he were President he would spend all his time kissing the MSM rear ends and allowing them to drive his agenda.

One more thing--his smile scares the bleep out of me.

These scores are cumulative for each representative's time in their current office. Better than Giuliani and almost any Democrat on this issue, but still not good.

2004 Senator McCain supported the interests of the Eagle Forum 100 percent in 2004...(etc)

I'm sure Pat Buchanan has good 'conservative' ratings too.

But that doesn't necessarily make him or anyone a reliable, trustworthy, sane candidate for the GOP.
