Here in East Texas we knew Rita was coming and we prepared. Nobody expected the cavalry. The electricity was going to be off so we charged our batteries. Gasoline was going to be in short supply so we filled up. Food, bottled water, and the rest was laid in. You have to take on a little responsibility for yourself before you can truly be a grownup. And I am sure that the fact that the governor of LA refused for ten days after Katrina to sign a bill temporarily granting doctors who were licensed in states other that LA to practice in LA for thirty days had NOTHING to do with the mess down there. /sarcasm
