I think the 737 might be the largest plane they currently allow to fly at Midway. I remember as a kid going by Midway when there was only General Aviation and maybe a couple of commercial prop flights daily. The big treat was they parked the Goodyear blimp there when it was doing a Chicago event, and it would be sitting in the same corner at 55th and Central. The neon sign would still be running. Made a 10 year olds day.

Do they still fly general aviation in and out of Midway, or did Hizzoner Daley decide to turn THAT into a park as well? (Sorry. Flight Simulator geek still bitter about Meigs Field.)
