OK - for the military guys and gals out there; I think I'm pretty well-versed in military munitions, tactics etc. (hey, I watch "Roll Call" on the History Channel every week!) but I've never heard of a "depleted uranium bomb". Is this a real thing, or is Rall just being a Liberal?

He doesn't know the difference between a bullet and a bomb.

Ah...no. No depleted uranium bombs. They make good anti-tank projectiles when shot out of barrels, though.

Rall is a stupid, hate-filled man looking for the most inflammatory words he can find regardless of truth.

They're projectile rounds I believe. Uranium is a very dense metal that can go through armor plating, tanks etc. and will burn on impact. I was in the Air Force and my only experience with it was watching the safety video on it once a year. I also have some background with the atomic energy program and don't think this stuff is even close to as bad as liberals say it is. Obviously, people shouldn't touch the residue, or roll around in it, but the majority of those who have been around this stuff are fine. I'm not an expert however, but Rall doesn't even know that these are not bombs. What an idiot.
