I saw this guy on Fox today.
He's enjoying himself entirely TOO much, if you get my drift.

I was wondering how many witnesses, not agents, heard the man screaming 'bomb'.
You think this guy you saw was just seeking his 15 mins?
To: Howlin
Well, but he was ready to break someone's neck if need be!
I didn't see him, but I have a picture in my head of a a guy whose never been anyone, and now, suddenly he can be a hero without really doing anything!

Was he the guy who thinks the flight crew should be the ones to deal with potential terrorists?

The famewhore virus is spreading....look for more passengers on this flight to become infected.
(of course, if the air marshals hadn't done anything, they would have gotten their 15 minutes bemoaning that they DID hear the word "bomb" and no one did anything....)

Yep.
I'll make a deal with the world: I won't act like this person did on a flight - running towards the cockpit with a backpack after being told to stop - and I will not skip any meds that are needed to keep me sane. And you, the airline, agree to defend me against anyone who acts in such a way.
I feel badly for the dead man and his family, but I'm glad the threat was dealt with, quickly and decisively. It's a sin to second guess the folks who risk their lives to keep us safe.

"They kept telling me to get down. I heard about five shots." "I was looking through the seats because I wanted to see what was coming. McAlhany says he tried to see what was happening just in case he needed to take evasive action. "I wanted to make sure if anything was coming toward me and they were killing passengers I would have a chance to break somebody's neck," he says. so I could be one of the first on TV!

It would be interesting to find out if it is standard operating procedure for 2 Air Marshalls to be onboard when a plane is being protected.
One for 1st Class and one for coach?
Seems a lot more planes could be covered if one armed marshall was on board instead of two?
To: Howlin
It would also be interesting how flights are chosen for Air Marshall support.
Obviously we don't have enough for every flight.

Sort of like Richard Clark before, during and after the 911 Commission hearings?

At least one passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 924 maintains the federal air marshals were a little too quick on the draw when they shot and killed Rigoberto Alpizar as he frantically attempted to run off the airplane shortly before take-off.I wonder what all the other passengers thought????

does he remind you of the disqualified "Juror 15" in the Peterson case?
speaking of which, guess his 15 minutes expired the day the real jurors came in
