FLASH: DEC. 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor
One Eyewitness to the sinking of USS Arizona, thinks Navy may be overeating. He tells Time magazine that he never saw any Japanese planes.
Time Headline Eyewitness: "I Never Heard the Word 'Bomb'"
A. he was not an "eye" witness to the actual shooting?
B. or even an "ear" witness to what was said in the jetway
Obviously the headline was an attempt by Time to spin this as an unjustified overeaction by air marshalls who are lying to cover up their error.
The implication of the headline is that this man was in a position to hear the word bomb, if the person shot had spoken the word. Thus his account contradicts the Air Marshalls.
Question When is a report and a headline about an incident based on a single witness's, when there are over a hundred "witnesses"?
Answer: When that one witness is spinning the story the way the MSM wants to spin it.
