"McAlhany said he saw Alpizar before the flight and is absolutely stunned by what unfolded on the airplane."
It is stunning to see agents in action trying to save the lives of all on the plane.

"One little girl was crying. There was a lady crying all the way to the hotel."
You.. You don't mean they were FRIGHTENED? Do you?
That's it then. No more air marshals from now on.

Eyewitness testimony is among the most unreliable forms of evidence. There will be many different versions of what happened coming from those passengers. This is entirely predictable, especially in a high stress situation.
What is also predictable is that the MSM will use this phenomenon to try to try and convict those agents.

Maybe the stewardess was about to put Gigli on as the inflight movie, and the guy was pointing out that it was a bomb.

Hey. One person didn't hear the word "bomb."
Let's run with that.

1. Passenger on plane weaing back-pack.
2. Passenger runs towards cockpit.
3. Passenger refuses to stop when commanded.
1+2+3 = Dead passenger
It IS really that simple.

I would like to hear what this guy would say if there was a bomb and it blew up in midair with him aboard.

I noticed big signs at the Newark airport a couple weeks ago claiming it is a crime to talk or joke about bombs, weapons, etc. while boarding or at the gate.

At least one passenger...
Ah yes, the single heckler veto concept is injected into work
that protects the citizens of the USA.
And those that visit or travel via our conveyances.
What bloody madness.
But, to paraphrase Churchill: a concept so daft that intelledtuals
(and lawyers/judges) will consider it.

This is what I suspected.
This does not mean the shooting was unjustified.
But, I reckoned the "he claimed to have a bomb" stuff was B.S.

"I wanted to make sure if anything was coming toward me and they were killing passengers I would have a chance to break somebody's neck," he says. Well since this guy didn't break the neck of an armed man sticking a shotgun in his neck, just who was he planning on breaking the neck of? A grandmother or something? This guy sounds like a loser. |

Even if he was quiet they should have taken him out if was behaving erratically, opening a backpack and refusing to obey officers to get down. Bad choice on his part.

So I would say to McAlhany:
What makes you a reliable witness? Why should we believe you?
If the guy had set off a bomb, he would have bitched that not enough had been done...oh wait...no he wouldn't have....

"I never heard the word 'bomb' on the plane," McAlhany told TIME in a telephone interview. So? If you were in a bank that was robbed but never heard the word "stickup", does that mean it was not spoken to a teller?
